Recent tests have shown that if the Cast Iron Sizzle Platter (56008) is used on a cooker or oven for a longer period of time (+/-2 hours), the plate may emit some metals (aluminium, cobalt, lithium and manganese) above the officially permitted limits. In doing so, we would like to mention, that independent research of these results has concluded that the product, even when used for longer periods of time (+/-2 hours), is still safe for use by consumers of all ages.
